Do any of you remember the Steve Martin bit “Let’s Get Small”? It was not about art. It was about feeling good…But do you know he wrote a book about the art world? It was called “An Object of Beauty”. I read it. It was pretty good. There were things about it I totally related to. And some things not so much. Well, it was pretty interesting, anyway.

It was more about the “BIG” art world. Big artists, gallerists trying to make it big.

Here in The Berkshires, I like it small. I like community, I love our artists. I love my people.

So this year, after those two other years which will stay un-named-however etched in our psyches-we will get small again with an invitational including over 60 paintings, drawings, and collage by some of my favorite of local artists.

Reception for the Artists, Friday, December 3, 4-6 pm. Weather permitting there will be food and drink outside the gallery. And since it looks like we’re still in Covid world, masks and social distancing is expected inside.
